70th Golden Globe awards: What happened and who won?

TV and film came together today for the 70th Golden Globe awards which were hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

Overall the show went well this year with Tina Fey and Poehler hosting the show was not without it’s laughs and the audience seemed entertained with the many jokes throughout. Watch the opening monologue below and other parts of this years show chosen from NBC’s Youtube channel.

The Golden Globes were shown this year on Foxtel on Arena live in Australia and on NBC in America. You can catch a repeat of the show on Arena tonight at 8:30 in Australia or for the next showing check your local TV guides for your countries. It was quite an entertaining and good, well done show this year as award shows go.
