Bill Murray will be providing his voice to the bear Baloo in Jon Favreau’s adaption of The Jungle Book.
This isn’t the first time Bill Murray did voice work. Let’s just hope this movie is better than those Garfield movies.

The Oscar-nominated actor joins an all-star voice cast of Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba, Christopher Walken, Lupita Nyong’o, Giancarlo Esposito, and Ben Kingsley. Newcomer Neel Sethi is playing the human Mowgli.
Baloo was voiced by Phil Harris in the original 1967 animated film where he and his fellow cast and crew members were nominated for the Grammy award for “Best Recording for Children”. The character was later voiced by John Goodman in the 2003 sequel.
Jon Favreau (director of Iron Man 1 and 2) is directing the film with a screenplay by Justin Marks (writer of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li).
The Jungle Book is set for October 9, 2015.
