Blu-ray Releases: 11/24/13 – 11/30/13

This week on Blu-ray: Australia takes home one flick while America gets three. Who got the better deal though? Let’s find out:

AUSTRALIA RELEASES

The Wolverine comes to Blu-ray in Hugh Jackman’s home. The Hugh Jackman Action flick had a $120 million budget and currently has $414.7 million worldwide making the film a box office success. Two Blu-rays are available: one with a 3D copy and one without but both versions come with an Ultraviolet copy. We loved The Wolverine, check out that review right here.

AMERICA RELEASES

Getaway comes to Blu-ray this week. The Ethan Hawke-Selena Gomez Thriller had an $18 million budget and made $10.5 million in the box office making the film a box office failure. The Blu-ray comes with a DVD, Digital, and Ultraviolet copy.

Jobs comes to Blu-ray this week. The Ashton Kutcher Drama had a $12 million budget and made $35.9 million worldwide making the film a box office success. The Blu-ray comes with a Digital and Ultraviolet copy.

Red 2 comes to Blu-ray this week. The star-studded Action Comedy had an $84 million budget and made $137.1 million worldwide making the film a mild box office success. The Blu-ray comes with a DVD, Digital, and Ultraviolet copy.

That’s it for this week on Blu-ray. According to Rotten Tomatoes, The Wolverine has a “Fresh” 68% while America has an average of 23% making Australia the clear winner. The highest rated movie was Australia’s The Wolverine with its “Fresh” 68% while the lowest rated movie was America’s Getaway with a “Rotten” 3%. Do you plan on picking up any of these titles?
