This week on Blu-ray: Australia gets one release while America gets four. Who has the best selection though? Let’s find out!
AUSTRALIAN RELEASES
Rush races home to Blu-ray this week. The Chris Hemsworth-Daniel Bruhl action drama had a $38 million budget and made $90.2 million worldwide. We absolutely loved the Blu-ray, with its “great video and audio presentation” and bonus content that “completely covers the film’s development”. Read our full Blu-ray review right here.

AMERICAN RELEASES
Baggage Claim is ready to be claimed on Blu-ray this week. The romantic comedy had an unknown budget but made $22.4 million in the box office. The Blu-ray comes with a DVD, Digital, and Ultraviolet copy.

Dallas Buyers Club is available to buy on Blu-ray this week. The Oscar-nominated drama had an unknown budget but currently has $22.5 million in the box office. The Blu-ray comes with a DVD, Digital, and Ultraviolet copy. We really liked Dallas Buyers Club, saying the film “might not be worth $10 to see in theaters but it’s worthy of your time when it comes out on Blu-ray.” Read that review by clicking here.

Escape Plan escapes to Blu-ray this week. The Stallone-Schwarzenegger action thriller had an unknown budget but made $135.4 million worldwide. The Blu-ray comes with a DVD, Digital, and Ultraviolet copy. We quite enjoyed Escape Plan, calling it “a mostly satisfying movie to watch.” Check out that review right here.

Free Birds is available on Blu-ray this week (unfortunately not for free). The Woody Harrelson-Owen Wilson voiced animation had a $55 million budget and currently has $93.3 million worldwide. The film was released in 3D in theaters but doesn’t appear to have a 3D Blu-ray. The only Blu-ray available comes with the 2D-only Blu-ray and a DVD, Digital, and Ultraviolet copy.

That’s it for this week on Blu-ray. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Australia’s lone film has an 89% while America’s films average out to 44% making Australia the winner this week. The highest rated film was America’s Dallas Buyers Club with a 93% while the lowest was America’s Baggage Claim with 14%. Do you plan on picking up any of these titles?
