This week on Blu-ray: both Australia and America net one release each, but who has the better title? Let’s find out:

AUSTRALIA RELEASES

The Great Gatsby is released on both 3D and 2D Blu-ray this week. The Baz Luhrman drama had a $105 million budget and made $348.8 million in the box office making The Great Gatsby a box office success. We reviewed The Great Gatsby in both 2D and 3D and you can check out those reviews here (2D) and here (3D).

AMERICA RELEASES

Iron Man 3 comes out on 3D and 2D Blu-ray this week. The Shane Black action adventure had a $200 million budget and made $1.2 billion so far in the box office making the film a box office success and the current fifth highest grossing film of all time. We reviewed Iron Man 3, and you can check out that review right here and you can expect an Iron Man 3 3D Blu-ray review in the coming days here on Resident Entertainment.

That’s it for this week on Blu-ray. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Australia’s average of films (which is just The Great Gatsby) comes out to 49% while America (who just had Iron Man 3) comes out to 78% making America the winner! The highest rated film was Iron Man 3 with the 78% while the lowest was The Great Gatsby with a 49%. Do you plan on picking up any of these titles?
