Dragon Age Inquisition: Riding Horses: War Of The Horses

So I’ve been playing Dragon Age: Inquisition for almost a week now and while I spent a lot of time running around from quest to quest and then again to another quest and another quest, I sort of started to wonder why they didn’t put horses in so at least we can get places quicker. But actually I didn’t wonder too long because sure enough there are horses in the game and once you finish the “War Of The Horses” mission you can call one at almost any time.

I recorded this short video which I have placed below showing the “War Of The Horses” mission where you get to first ride a horse. I also think it might be of interest to those who haven’t played the game as you can take a look at quite a lot of the world in the game, how the scenery looks, how a mission plays out and how the gameplay is. But at the same time, because it’s kind of an isolated story you don’t really get anything spoiled if you watch this.

I recorded “War Of The Horses” on the PlayStation 4, so that’s pretty much how the game looks on the console. So far I’m pleased with the game and especially like the horses for getting around. Your party that you are with doesn’t get on a horse with you though, they disappear when you get on one and reappear when you get off.

The mission is actually quite an easy one to finish. For those who need tips, I guess all you need to know is to stay in between the posts and not go around them as I did in my first attempt. After that just tap R3 so you can run fast and you should be able to finish within all the times fairly easily. After you do all three races you’ll be able to use the horse when you’re done to explore the area or even use it when you visit other lands in the game.
