Finding A Dragon In Dragon Age: Inquisition

I’ve been playing through Dragon Age: Inquisition for some time now and being my first Dragon Age game, I was kind of wondering where are all the actual dragons? Well I found one! It was in the Storm Coast area of the game and was in a battle with a Giant!

This is actually the second dragon I’ve seen in the game as I have seen one in the Hinterlands area as well. But this one was a more interesting video since it was fighting another character already and it doesn’t consist of me being wrecked when I engage it, as I did when I was in the Hinterlands.

One thing that I really like about Dragon Age: Inquisition is that the wildlife or the numerous enemies will battle each other and not always focus on you all the time. Many a time I”ve been wondering around and have seen groups of enemies attacked by a bear and get killed or even bears just hunting other creatures. But I did not imagine ever seeing a dragon take on something else and I didn’t even know there were giants in the land as well, so that was a new discovery all together.

This is a strange dragon as it seems to breathe lightning? You’ll see in the video below the lightning dragon, but the other dragon I have seen was a fire breathing kind, so it kind of makes me wonder if there are different types of dragons around and if it’s important for taking one down if they have different powers or not. Finding them seems to be random as well, I went back to this location and didn’t find the dragon again or any giants. But in the Hinterlands I know that the dragon is always there. I’m not sure how you go about finding a dragon in Dragon Age: Inquisition as they just seem to pop up randomly for me, but maybe as I play through I’ll figure out how.

In terms of giants you also see me fight the one that is left here. He wasn’t as strong as I thought he would be and I was able to take him out on my first try. He drops quite a few items of varying value but nothing super valuable.

You can expect a review from me on the site early next week as soon as I finish getting through the game. But I’ve been trying to share the cooler things I have found in the game. This was actually recorded a few days ago so I am a bit further in than it appears.
