Sims VIP is reporting that for a limited time only players who have origin will be able to get the complete Sims 2 game for free. The Sims 2 Ultimate Edition contains all the stuff packs and expansion packs from the Sims 2 which once upon a time would have been worth hundreds of dollars in RRP. But now anyone can just get it for free!
To get your game simply open Origin:
- Click “Origin” on the top left corner
- Click Redeem Product Code
- Enter: I LOVE THE SIMS
- It should now take you to a page that lets you download the game.
- If you don’t have Origin, you can sign up and get it here (it’s free to join)
I’m currently in Australia and the code worked for me and to my understanding should work for North America as well.

According to Sims VIP the offer from EA is only available until the 31st of July 2014. So if you want it, you might as well grab it now. I know I have!
