A Halo TV series is currently being worked on by Showtime, Amblin Television and 343 Industries. In case you don’t know what Halo is, Halo is one of the most popular video game franchises of all time. The new TV series is an adaptation of the video game franchise.
SHOWTIME president and CEO David Nevins said “Halo is our most ambitious series ever, and we expect audiences who have been anticipating it for years to be thoroughly rewarded.” The Halo TV adaption will be executive produced by Kyle Killen (Awake), Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) and Scott Pennington, along with Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank for Amblin Television. The 10-episode series enters production in early 2019 and will be distributed globally by CBS Studios International.
