Houseparty is a great app for catching up with friends or family when you are at home or just happen to be far away from everyone. There’s video chat capabilities, you can play games and even share your screen. But you may have chosen the wrong name when you first got the app and now you are wondering how to change you name on Houseparty. The good thing is, we have a 4 step guide which will show you exactly how to change your name on houseparty.
Step 1: Open the app and click on the smiley face in the top left
Step 2: Look at the top left of the screen and click on the cog wheel there.
Step 3: Click on the “Edit Profile” part of the menu
Step 4: You will see fields there with your username and email, as you already have a username these will be filled in, they are hidden in this image below. But all you need to do is delete what is there and then replace the name with what you want it to be changed to, then click save.
That’s it! You should be done after this and now you can chat to all your friends and family with your brand new HouseParty name.
