Lucifer The One With The Baby Carrot Review

There Are Some Spoilers In Our Lucifer – The One With The Baby Carrot Review – Discussion

So the second episode of Lucifer went to air this week and in this one Lucifer becomes interested in a case Chloe is investigating and also continues his search for the Sinnerman.

This episode was actually pretty funny. The case involved tracking down a killer and involved chatting to a bunch of puppet masters and a whole bunch of micro penis jokes. It was all very silly actually, but the light tone of the show seems to do well for these types of episodes. The case itself was a little easy and didn’t seem like too much of challenge for Lucifer and Chloe to handle, compared to last week’s one, this one was nothing.

There are some developments in the plot to do with the Sinnerman storyline. Marcus Pierce (Tom Welling ) approaches Lucifer (Tom Ellis) in his home one night and tells him he has some history with the Sinnerman. We learn that something has happened between him, the Sinnerman and also his old partner and I don’t think it was anything good. It looks to me like these two will work together on this, but they’re keeping Chloe out of it. I don’t think it will be too long before Chloe becomes involved in this as well, but I guess we’ll all have to wait to see what happens there.

There’s some scenes with Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) and Linda (Rachael Harris) who seem to be working together a lot more this season. They’re both basically just disposing of Lucifer’s wings which he just left discarded and out in the open. There’s something strange going on here with Lucifer and his wings. But nothing at all was revealed for this in this week’s episode.

Overall it was a good episode which was light in it’s tone and had quite a few jokes. The issues with the Sinnerman and also the questions surrounding Lucifer’s wings are the major concerns this season. I do wonder what might happen in next week’s episode and what case they’ll all start to follow.

Lucifer airs on Tuesdays at 7:30pm on the FX channel on Foxtel
