M. Night Shyamalan Reveals Cast and Title for ‘Unbreakable’/’Split’ Sequel

M. Night Shyamalan announced quite a few details about his next film on Twitter on Wednesday.

It was previously announced the film is both a sequel to his 2000 thriller Unbreakable and his recent blockbuster Split. Today, he confirmed the cast will include Unbreakable returns Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson as well as James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy from Split.

The movie will be titled Glass, which is a name used for Jackson’s Unbreakable character. Universal and Blumhouse Pictures will put out the pic, which is set for Jan. 18, 2019.

Split was Shymalan’s 12th feature and was released in January. The thriller grossed about $275 million worldwide.
