What are the new features in NHL 2014?
One Touch Dekes
These new one touch dekes are the main new feature and basically change the player movement controls from using two analog sticks to just one. Players are supposed to more easily control their hockey player with this new controlling functionality allowing them to take better shots and move more efficiently in the game.
True Performance Skating
True performance skating basically allows for better player movements during the game built on and improved when compared to NHL 2013. In NHL 2014 there is an emphasis on better player performance and responsiveness. This also extends to better balancing between speed and momentum, quicker pivots and much more advanced lateral skating.
