Today some gameplay footage was released for the definitive edition of Sleeping Dogs by Square Enix and United Front Games. The game was previously on the last generation of consoles but is making a reappearance on the next generation systems (PS4/Xbox One) and will be releasing on the 14th Of October 2014.
The Definitive edition version of the game appears to be quite improved when compared to the original. It is going to be in native 1080p, with high resolution textures on the next generation systems. Also because of the increased power the new systems have compared to the Ps3/Xbox 360 there will also be increased traffic density and also more pedestrians on the streets of Hong Kong while you walk around the city. There will also be new lighting effects, ambient fog and also the inclusion of 24 different downloadable content for the game which includes both the horror add on “Nightmare in North Point” and also “Year Of The Snake”.
