Rob Paulsen confirmed talks about a reboot of Animaniacs to The Hollywood Reporter.

THR profiled the voice actor on his return to acting after cancer treatment. This little bit is mentioned at the end of the piece.

“As for the future, the voice actor is excited about the possibility of an Animaniacs reboot, which he has had early discussions on,” reads the article.

Indiewire reported in May that a reboot was in the early stages of development. Tress MacNeille, Jess Harnell, Frank Welker, and Maurice LaMarche were also actors on the show.

Animaniacs ran from 1993 to 1998 and consists of 99 episodes and a direct-to-video movie. A 65-episode spinoff series that received its own 13-episode spinoff were also produced.

Paulsen can currently be heard as Donatello on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He has recently provided voice work for numerous cartoons including The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, The Fairly OddParents and Ultimate Spider-Man. He has also played P.J. on Goof Troop, Carl Wheezer on Jimmy Neutron, Raphael on the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and an insane amount more. Peep that ridiculous IMDb page.
