During the recent holiday season Sony managed to sell 5.9 million units worldwide of its PS4 console. This is an impressive figure for the company, which continues to see strong sales for the leading video game platform for this generation.

- More than 55.9 million PS4 games were sold during the 2017 holiday season in retail stores worldwide and through digital downloads on PlayStation®Store. This totals up to 645.0 million copies cumulatively sold as of December 31, 2017.
