The Sims 4 are ending the year with a bang. New announcements, new free content and a massive patch for PC and Mac users.
Announcements
The Sims have had another announcement regarding the new Community Chosen Stuff Pack which will be released next year. We have already voted for the Theme and Gameplay for the new pack, which will be “Arts & Crafts”. Next week we will be able to vote for the Art Style from three “work in progress” options that were released during the Maxis Monthly yesterday morning.
After the 24th of December (in Australia), we will be able to choose from “Granny Chic”, “Cozy Craft Workshop” or “Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Delight” for the new upcoming “Arts and Crafts” Stuff Pack.
The new big announcement for the end of the year for The Sims 4 is that The Sims Gallery is coming to PS4 and Xbox One players. This way you will be able to share your creations across all platforms from next earlier next year. This means you can upload families to the gallery, and someone playing PS4 or Xbox can download your houses and families, and vice versa.
Patch Update December 2019
Attending to approximately 300 bugs and fixes, the new Sims 4 PC patch is huge. For more information about all the details, please check out the full patch notes by clicking this link to go through to the Official News Page.
I always love to read the patch notes for amazing gems like this;
Perfect Patio
- We fixed an issue where hired Maids would often change into Swimwear and use the Hot Tub instead of completing their tasks.
- I hired them to clean… honest!
But WAIT! 300 fixes is not all! A FREE item has been added to The Sims 4 in this update, which none of us expected. I will only tell you one detail — “Their age? – Yes. They are 50 years old.”
