11 days before release, tickets for the 70mm roadshow release for The Hateful Eight are on sale, also making the first time we know which theaters are projecting in the ultra-wide format.
Quentin Tarantino’s (appropriately) eighth film will reach 100 theaters in 44 markets according to Variety, who also confirmed the roadshow event will still play for two weeks after the wide release date was moved up. So to clarify, the roadshow event will begin December 25 and last until January 8, and the wide release will begin January 1.
Tickets can be purchased at tickets.thehatefuleight.com. Those who purchase ahead of time will participate in “12 Days of Hateful Eight Giveaways” where a prize will be awarded to a ticket buyer every day leading up to Christmas, according to Variety.
The Hateful Eight will be released on December 25, and just recently scored three nominations at the upcoming Golden Globes.
