It’s getting closer and closer to the release of The Order 1886 and because of that we’ll surely be seeing lot’s of videos like this one. But often times I think it’s interesting to see what developers put effort into their musical compositions. I have actually played the game, which I spent about 15 minutes with earlier this year at the EB Expo and I would say that the music was one of the features of the game that did stand out to me when playing The Order 1886.
The video will give you a good idea of the sounds and the work that went into the score for the game and they explain why they chose to not use horns, but rather clarinets and other wood wind instruments. They also talk about the use of a choir in the game and to me it seems they are going for a very low and disturbing sound for their game. There isn’t really any high tones that I heard that would be appearing, which gives you an idea of the type of tone the game will have when we get to play it next year.
