Westworld Season 2 Australian Release Date

If you’ve been wondering just when the Westworld season 2 Australian release date is, we’re happy to tell you that it is Monday April 23 at 11.00am with a primetime encore at 8.30pm on the same day. Westworld season 2 will be broadcast on the Showcase channel on Foxtel and is one of their shows listed in their “express from the US” range on the service so that means it will air on Foxtel on the same day as in the US and as close to the same time as possible.

The second season of the show was teased with the first trailer being released during the recent Superbowl in the United States. The trailer showed a bit of a preview of the season, but left much mystery for the viewer and also many questions about what might happen this year. The superbowl commercial featured music from Kanye West’s Runaway by series composer Ramin Djawadi and the ad itself was directed by Jonathan Nolan.

Westworld stars Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Thandie Newton and Ed Harris. The show was quite the success for Foxtel when it aired last year and was very popular with viewers, many of which are probably quite excited, just as I am to see the second season.

The Westworld TV show is based on the 1973 film Westworld and its later sequel. The revamped HBO series received a total of 22 Emmy nominations last year.

In relation to the Westworld Season 2 Australian release date, after the live broadcast the weekly episodes will be available on Foxtel’s on demand service and also their streaming service Foxtel Now so people who are subscribed to those can find it there too.
