Baghead Review

Baghead is a film which comes directed by Alberto Corredor. The movie stars Freya Allan, Jeremy Irvine, Ruby Barker and Peter Mullan. It’s a horror film with a 1 hour and 34 minute run time.

This film is a new horror film starring Freya Allan who plays Iris. In the movie Iris inherits an old pub that has something terrible underneath. Some strange person with a bag on their head is living down there.

With this movie, I had a good time watching it. It’s scary in some parts and does well enough. One problem with it, is that it’s very similar to Talk to me (2022). So much so that it feels like it’s copied it. Baghead is basically a creature that brings back a dead person and the characters in the movie talk to them for a short time. Just the same like in Talk to me (2022). This is one major downside because that film was so popular and somehow the stories are so similar.

Freya Allan is quite good in this film, I’m a fan of her acting having watched her in many episodes of The Witcher. Hope this actress can get more roles soon. The rest of the actors in Baghead are completely forgettable though and are just average.

It’s fun for weekend out, especially if you can find some discount tickets. If you’re a fan of Freya Allan then it might be worth seeing in the cinema.

I think honestly it’s a average horror movie though so don’t go in expecting the best of the genre. It’s more just something to see to pass the time this weekend. It’s scary enough in some parts at least.
