AUSTRALIA RELEASES
Monsters University comes to Blu-ray this week. The Billy Crystal-John Goodman animation had an unknown budget and currently has $743.2 million worldwide making the film a box office success. Two Blu-rays are available: one with a 3D and Digital Copy and another with just the Digital Copy. We loved Monsters University in theaters and you can read that review right here.

This is the End comes to Blu-ray this week. The star studded comedy had a $32 million budget and made $124.4 million worldwide making the film a box office success. The Blu-ray comes with an Ultraviolet copy. We loved the film in theaters and even more on Blu-ray. You can read our review of the movie right here and our review of the Blu-ray right here.

AMERICA RELEASES
Man of Steel comes to Blu-ray this week. The Zack Snyder directed action/adventure had a $225 million budget and made $662.8 million worldwide making the film a box office success. Four different Blu-rays are available: one with a DVD, Digital, and Ultraviolet copy, another with a 3D, DVD, and Ultraviolet copy, another that comes with a 3D, Digital, and Ultraviolet copy that comes in a tin, and a final one that comes with two action figures, a DVD, and an Ultraviolet copy. Turbo comes to Blu-ray this week. The Ryan Reynolds-Paul Giamatti animation had a $135 million budget and currently has $273.4 million worldwide making the film a box office success. Three different Blu-rays are available: one with a 3D, DVD, and Ultraviolet copy, another with a DVD and Ultraviolet copy, and a final one with a toy and a DVD.

That’s it for this week on Blu-ray. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Australia has an average of 81% while America has an average of 62% making Australia the winner. The highest rated movie was Australia’s This is the End with a “Certified Fresh” 83% while the lowest was America’s Man of Steel with a “Rotten” 56%. Do you plan on picking up any of these titles?
