This week on Blu-ray: Australia and America share a title while America gets two exclusives. Who ended up with the highest Rotten Tomatoes average though? Let’s find out:
AMERICAN RELEASES
Nebraska comes to Blu-ray this week. The Will Forte Oscar-nominee had a $12 million budget and currently has $16.5 million in the box office. The Blu-ray comes with a DVD, Digital, and Ultraviolet copy. Two reviews of the film are on Resident Entertainment, and you can read those here and here.

Thor: The Dark World arrives on Blu-ray this week. The Chris Hemsworth-Tom Hiddleston action adventure had a $170 million budget and currently has $639.6 million worldwide. Two different versions of the Blu-ray are available: one with a 3D copy and one without but both come with digital copies. AUSTRALIAN AND AMERICAN RELEASES
Gravity comes to Blu-ray this week. The Sandra Bullock-George Clooney Oscar-nominee had a $100 million budget and currently has $703.6 million worldwide. In Australia, two different versions of the Blu-ray are available: one with a 3D copy, 2D copy, and Ultraviolet and another with a 2D copy, DVD, and an Ultraviolet copy. In America, two different versions are available: one with a 3D copy and one without but both come with DVD and Ultraviolet copies. That’s it for this week on Blu-ray. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Australia’s lone film came out to 97% while America’s films average out to 85% making Australia the winner this week. The highest rated film was America and Australia’s Gravity with a “Certified Fresh” 97% while the lowest was America’s Thor: The Dark World with a “Fresh” 65%.
