This week on Blu-ray: Australia has three new releases while America has five. Who has the best selection though? Let’s find out:
AUSTRALIAN RELEASES
47 Ronin comes to Blu-ray this week. The action drama had a $175 million budget and made $150.9 million worldwide. Two different Blu-rays are available: one with a 3D copy and one without, both come with Ultraviolet copies.

Her comes to Blu-ray this week. The dramedy had a $23 million budget and made $45.8 million worldwide. The Blu-ray comes with an Ultraviolet copy. We loved the movie, read our review right here.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit comes to Blu-ray this week. The action thriller had a $60 million budget and made $134.2 million worldwide. The Blu-ray doesn’t appear to come with any digital copies.

AMERICAN RELEASES
3 Days to Kill comes to Blu-ray this week. The action thriller had a $28 million budget and made $44.4 million worldwide. The Blu-ray comes with a DVD, digital, and an Ultraviolet copy.

About Last Night comes to Blu-ray this week. The romantic comedy had a $12.5 million budget and made $49 million worldwide. The Blu-ray comes with a digital and Ultraviolet copy.

The Monuments Men comes to Blu-ray this week. The action drama had a $70 million budget and currently has $154.9 million worldwide. The Blu-ray comes with a DVD and an Ultraviolet copy.

Pompeii comes to Blu-ray this week. The action drama had a $100 million budget and made $97.6 million worldwide. Two different Blu-rays are available: one with a 3D copy and one without, but both come with Ultraviolet copies.

Vampire Academy comes to Blu-ray this week. The fantasy flick had an unknown budget and made $15.3 million worldwide. The Blu-ray comes with an Ultraviolet copy.

That’s it for this week on Blu-ray. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Australia’s films average out to 54% while America’s films average out to 34% making America the winner this week. The highest rated film was Australia’s Her with a “Certified Fresh” 94% while the lowest was America’s Vampire Academy with 10%. Do you plan on picking up any of these titles?
