This week in Blu-ray releases: both Australia and America net one new release but which has the better film?
AUSTRALIA RELEASES
The Guilt Trip arrives on Blu-ray this week. The Seth Rogen and Barbara Streisand comedy was barely a success making $41 million on a budget of $40 million. There doesn’t appear to be a Digital or DVD copy with this Blu-ray.

AMERICAN RELEASES
Dark Skies comes to Blu-ray this week. The Keri Russell thriller had a teeny budget of $3.5 million and made $23.4 million worldwide making the film a box office success. A DVD, Digital, and Ultraviolet copy are all present with no retailer exclusives.
So which territory won the Blu-ray battle this week? The Guilt Trip stands at a wonderful 38% on Rotten Tomatoes while Dark Skies stands at an almost equally great 36%. Nobody should win this week but we have to pick a winner.
WINNER: AUSTRALIA
TALLIES FOR THE YEAR: AUSTRALIA (3) AMERICA (3)
