Director Christopher McQuarrie (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) and writing duo Carl Capotorto and Terence Winter (Vinyl) are teaming up for a Netflix movie, according to Deadline.
Called The Chameleon, the film is adapted from a 2008 New Yorker story about a 30-year-old man who serially impersonates children.
McQuarrie wrote and directed the fifth Mission: Impossible movie and is currently doing the same for the sixth one. He previously directed and wrote the Tom Cruise action flick Jack Reacher and has screenplay credits on The Mummy, Edge of Tomorrow, Jack the Giant Slayer and The Usual Suspects.
Capotorto played Little Paulie on The Sopranos and became one of the writers for the HBO series Vinyl. Winter had various producing roles on The Sopranos and co-created Vinyl. He also created Boardwalk Empire and wrote The Wolf of Wall Street.
