EA E3 2013 Conference Summary

EA began the conference by first going to Pop Cap games and announced a new Plants vs Zombies.

A lot of Gameplay is shown for the new game. It is a third person shooter type of game, a boss fight is shown.

Peggle 2 is announced and the announcer jumps in the air.

Titanfall is then announced as new game, by the new stage presenter.

Frank Gibau then takes the stage; says “games on consoles will never be the same again”

Talks about EA sports Ignite and Frostbite 3, “have been working on both of these for 2 years” Gibau says.

Star Wars BattleFront logo is shown with a short video

A long and impressive Need For Speed Rivals Trailer is shown

Gameplay is shown of the game in a red Ferrari. It’s a chase scene cops v racers.

Another video is shown detailing the making of Need For Speed Rivals in more detail and what it was like directing for the game.

Aaryn Flynn from BioWare takes the stage; talks about Inquisition to be launched in fall 2014. A trailer is shown, it has a dragon in it.

Andew Wilson takes the stage once more for EA sports. “Game a powered by EA Sports Ignite”, mentions true player motion. Shows a variety of games for the Xbox One and Ps4

NBA Live 14: A new technology is detailed called bounce tek – better physics for the game

Cam Weber introduces Madden NFL 25 – Talks about True Step which allows for better foot work. More details about the game are mentioned and a game play trailer is shown.

We then transition into FIFA 14.

Drake now takes the stage “my passion for soccer runs deep”

Matt Bilbey then takes the stage – Talks about some new features for FIFA, “We’ve added hundred of new skills to make the experience of football come to life”

Bruce Buffer now takes the stage – He’s a very impressive announcer! Announces a wide variety of UFC people like Ben Henderson and Jon Jones.

Andrew Wilson takes the stage again, says he’s proud to work on UFC

A trailer is shown after some banter with the stage guests, game will be out Spring 2014

Patrick Bach now takes the stage to talk about Battlefield 4

Talks about Commander mode for the game

Mentions Battlelog and the “connected experience”

A very impressive game demo for Battlefield 4 is then shown, it has 64 players playing all at once!

A new mirrors edge game is announced also by DICE, a trailer is shown and it looks graphically very impressive.
