New cast members have been added to Zack Snyder’s untitled Superman/Batman movie which now includes Holly Hunter who some would know as Elastigirl from The Incredibles, Callan Mulvey who played Scyllias in this years 300: Rise Of An Empire and Tao Okamoto who played Mariko in 2013’s The Wolverine.
The actors will not be playing any known characters but will be playing newly created characters purely for the film.
In relation to the announcement, Zack Snyder spoke about Holly Hunter and said “Holly has always been one of my favourite actresses; she has immense talent and is always captivating on screen. I had an opportunity to meet her a while back and knew instantly that I had to work with her, so as we began writing the script I made sure to create a role specifically for her.”
In relation to Tao and Callan, Zack Snyder also had praise for his newly chosen actors saying “I just had the good fortune to work with Callan on ‘300: Rise of an Empire’ and was very impressed with his incredible talent,” and “Tao is a striking presence whose beauty is aptly rivaled by her amazing abilities as an actress. I’m really excited to have her joining us on this adventure.”
There were no details given as to the nature of these characters or what they were going to be doing in the movie.
