While you can previously share these videos via social media, now you can use a USB drive to remove those videos from the PS4 and upload them anywhere your heart desires. The length of recording PS4 gameplay has also changed; it was stuck at 15 minutes, but now can be changed to shorter time periods. Those wanting longer periods of recording time now have the option of turning off HDCP and capturing video directly from the HDMI output.
Lastly, a non-sharing feature is being introduced. Pre-ording a game on the PSN will give you the option to pre-download the game days before its release. This will give immediate access to games. No waiting for downloads, no trips to the store at midnight. Gamers now have access to their pre-ordered games immediately.
