“The Sims 4: Parenthood” Game Pack Review
ShareShareShareShare

Movie Stuff is the latest of the of the Sims 3 expansions and comes in the form of a stuff pack adding in a whole range of items for Sims 3 players to enjoy. Movie Stuff  is broken up into three different segments which include horror, western and superhero gear for your Sims to buy. Each allowing the player to create or design their own sets, themed areas or whatever they desire with the new items. Sims 3 Movie Stuff is actually quite a lot of fun and I enjoyed dressing up my Sim in movie themed outfits.

Some of the items in the Sims 3 movie stuff are actually quite a lot of fun once you own them. My favourite purchase in the game was the Vigilante Supercycle. I really enjoyed this motorcycle vehicle and it’s fast too! I raced all around Isla Paradiso in it, to and from work and to the book shop and back home. It was the best!

Riding the Movie Stuff Supercycle around town was actually a lot of fun! I'm racing back home to get my mail!

Other items in Sims 3 Movie Stuff included doors or decorations for your home. Some of them had interactive features like the laser door. The Laser Door is as it sounds, but it actually has a lot of functionality for you Sim to utilise it. You can change the colour on the door to any colour you would like the laser’s to be. You can limit the door’s entry to specific Sims or just your Sim to block other Sims from entering your special room. You can make it lock and you can even change the door bell! It’s a good item and I recommend buying it if you have this expansion.

While there are a whole lot of items you can buy in the Sims 3 Movie Stuff, it’s the costumes I think that really make this stuff pack fun. You can spend ages and ages changing and choosing your Movie Stuff outfit. There are a whole range of outfits to choose from the three segments and once you get the combinations going there are thousands to choose from. I actually really like the outfits in the Movie Stuff pack. They are fun looking and add a lot of personality to my Sim, so I like them. I put a few of my favourite ones below for you to check out.

There are a few more costumes than this, but I don’t want to spoil the Movie Stuff pack. The ones above were my favourite ones though. Once you have all your outfits chosen, which took me hours you can do quite a lot with you Sims 3 Movie Stuff pack. You could build themed areas for your Sims to interact in, you could set scenes and record your own movie or just act one out. It’s really up to the player. What I think about the Sims 3 Movie Stuff pack, is that while it adds a lot of items to the game, it’s up to the player to choose what they do with those items. The experience is really your own when you play the game.

As for myself I’m currently in the process of adding the movie themed items to my resort that I made from when I was playing Island Paradise not long ago. What I’m trying to do is make a whole range of themed rooms in there for Sims to come in and use. For now I’m starting with a western/horror theme for one of my resort’s rooms. Then I’m going to create other hang out areas for my Sims to visit like a superhero lair or a combination of that for the other rooms in the resort. But for now, I really have to save my Sims money because I only just finished on my house! So while I save I’m just reading a few books until then.

Overall Sims 3 Movie Stuff is a game that surprised me. While it didn’t appear to be adding so much when I first looked at the item list, once I got those items and started playing with them I found there was quite a lot to do with it all. While it doesn’t add as much to the game as the Island Paradise expansion which is my favourite Sims 3 expansion. It does add a lot for you to be creative with. If you are a creative Sims player and just love acting out scenes with your Sims or creatively decorating rooms then Sims 3 Movie Stuff is just bound to impress you. It’s what you do with the movie stuff that will make up your experience. For me, my experience was fun, and I truly enjoyed playing with the new items and picking out outfits for my Sim Lucretzia.
