“The Sims 4: Parenthood” Game Pack Review

After what felt like a really long winter regarding any Sims news. After hearing speculations, rumours and even some apparent “leaks” teasing us of what might be on its way. This morning, EA released some exciting news and an official trailer for the next Expansion Pack, “The Sims 4: City Living” which is due to be released on November 1st in Australia.

“Welcome to San Myshuno! A coastal city and an urban playground teeming with culture, night-life and new experiences. Start your Big-Apple adventure in a small, shoddy apartment and apply for a new job in one of the three new opportunities. Critic, Social Media and Politics career paths are there to help you work towards your goals of owning that sweet Penthouse with the sun-room and roof-top pool. Less conservative sims can express their passions by means of Protests, Street Art, or by busking on the street with the new portable Electronic Keyboard.

With rich culture and urban diversity, San Myshuno offers plenty for the townies to sink their teeth into, literally. After a hard day at the office (or the side-walk), your sims can let their hair down by exploring the new foods at the colourful and explosive Festivals held in the central park,  playing a friendly game of Half Court Basketball, pouring our their emotions at the new Karaoke Bars or just spending the night at home and Blowing Bubbles.”

I am super excited for “The Sims 4: City Living”! As a traveller, I love exploring new places and this feels like a “New York”, “San Francisco” or “Tokyo” scene to me. I cant wait to explore all the amazing Middle Eastern/Asian/Fusion themed furnishings and clothing, new careers and the five new Festival types. Of course, I have some questions I need answering…. Is that public transport? Is that Multi-player Gaming I see the kids playing?  I guess we will have to wait until November 1st to find out!
