This week on Blu-ray: Australia gets the Metropolis Marvel while America gets a monument destroyed and the joys of Adam Sandler.
AUSTRALIA RELEASES
Man of Steel comes to Blu-ray this week. The Zack Snyder Action/Adventure had a $225 million budget and made $662.8 million worldwide making the film a box office success. Two Blu-ray sets are available: one with a 3D copy and Ultraviolet and another with a DVD and Ultraviolet copy. We loved the movie, check out that review right here.

Grown Ups 2 comes to Blu-ray this week. The Adam Sandler and friends Comedy had an $80 million budget and currently has $245.1 million worldwide making the film a box office success. The Blu-ray comes with a DVD and an Ultraviolet copy.

White House Down comes to Blu-ray this week. The Channing Tatum-Jamie Foxx Action Drama had a $150 million budget and made $205 million worldwide making the film a mild box office success. The Blu-ray comes with a DVD and an Ultraviolet copy. We weren’t big fans of the film, you can read that review right here.

That’s it for this week on Blu-ray. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Man of Steel has a “Rotten” 56% while America has a “Rotten” average of 29% making Australia the sad winner this week. The highest rated winner was Australia’s Man of Steel with a “Rotten” 56% while the lowest was America’s Grown Ups 2 with a “Rotten” 7% (White House Down had a 50% if you’re curious).
