This week on Blu-ray: Australia nets one new release while America gets two. But who has the better titles? Let’s find out in this week’s BLU-RAY BATTLE!
AUSTRALIA RELEASES
Olympus Has Fallen comes to Blu-ray this week. The Morgan Freeman thriller had a $70 million budget and made $161 million worldwide making the film a box office success. The Blu-ray comes with an Ultraviolet copy.

AMERICAN RELEASES
Epic comes to Blu-ray this week. The Colin Farrell animation had a $100 million budget and currently has $252.3 million in the box office making the film a box office success. Two different Blu-rays are available: one with a 3D copy and one without but both versions come with a DVD and Ultraviolet copy. We reviewed Epic, and you can read that review right here.

Scary Movie 5 comes to Blu-ray this week. The Charlie Sheen comedy had a $20 million budget and made $76.7 million worldwide making the film a box office success. The Blu-ray comes with a DVD and Ultraviolet copy.

That’s it for this week on Blu-ray. Australia’s one lone release has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 47% while America’s releases average out to 34% making Australia the winner. The highest rated movie was Epic with a 64% and the lowest was Scary Movie 5 with a 4%. Do you plan on picking up any of these titles?
