This week on Blu-ray: Australia nets the biggest release of 2013 so far while America gets two much smaller releases. But who has the better titles? Let’s find out!
AUSTRALIA RELEASES
Iron Man 3 comes out on Blu-ray this week. The Shane Black Action/Adventure had a $200 million budget and currently has $1.2 billion so far in the box office making the film a box office success and the current fifth highest grossing film of all time. Iron Man 3 comes to Blu-ray in two versions: one with a 3D copy and one without but both versions come with a Digital Copy. We reviewed Iron Man 3, and you can check out that review right here.

AMERICAN RELEASES
The Great Gatsby comes out on Blu-ray this week. The Baz Luhrmann Drama had a $105 million budget and made $331 million worldwide making The Great Gatsby a box office success. The Great Gatsby comes to Blu-ray in two different versions: one with a 3D and Digital Copy, and one without but both versions come with a DVD and Ultraviolet copy. Pain and Gain comes to Blu-ray this week. The Michael Bay Action flick had a $26 million budget and currently has $49.8 million so far making the film a current mild box office success. Pain and Gain comes to Blu-ray with a DVD and an Ultraviolet copy.

That’s it for this week on Blu-ray. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Australia’s average of films (which is just Iron Man 3) comes out to 78% while America comes out to 48% making Australia the winner! The highest rated film was Iron Man 3 with the 78% while the lowest was Pain and Gain with a 46% (Gatsby had a 49% if you’re curious). Do you plan on picking up any of these titles?
