The second main campaign pack DLC for Rome Total War 2 will be released on March 27, 2014. The new campaign pack will be focused just after the second Punic Wars and will be called Hannibal at the Gates. Much of the campaign pack will be focused on the geopolitical situation that led both Carthage and Rome to war and of course will feature rivals Hannibal and Scipio.
Rome and Carthage will gain a new tech tree based around diplomacy as part of the pack and additional factions will be added. These new factions include the Syacuse, the Arevaci and the Lusitani.

Also announced today was that there was a “significant” free content upgrade that will be coming soon, but will be detailed further in the community TV show, Rally Point.
