Square Enix recently released some new screens for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMix. Not only will these games be updated HD versions, but will be the previously Japan exclusive Final Mix versions. Fans can finally throw down against Roxas, be able to wield new keyblades and abilities, partake in new mini-games, as well as fight secret bosses. Oh, there’s also more cutscenes, because who doesn’t like KH cutscenes (and no, I’m not being sarcastic).

2.5 ReMix comes with the Final Mix versions of Kingdom Hearts II and Birth by Sleep, as well as theatrical cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded. A release date hasn’t been announced, but 1.5 ReMix came out in September of last year so expect 2.5 to hit around the same time. I expect to get a new trailer during next week’s E3, as well as some new information from Kingdom Hearts 3. Although KH3 has been in development for about a year, I doubt it will see release soon.
this all looks great, Kingdom Hearts was my favourite series on the ps2, i’m glad to see it coming back and i’ve been waiting for number 3 for ages now. I hope we get to see more of it at E3
