The Sims 3 Roaring Heights was announced this week as a new world that players can purchase from the Sims 3 store from the 12th of December 2013. But what can a simmer expect from Roaring Heights? What’s new with this world?
The Sims 3 Roaring Heights will see players go back a few decades to explore the world and experience the culture of the 1920’s. The new world has a city landscape and a car Sims can fix up, roller coasters that Sims can ride and build and all new Sims fashion and clothing to dress your Sims with.
One of the new things that sims players will be able to do in Roaring Heights is work on their very own fixer upper car (officially called Classically Cool Fixer Upper car). What a player can do with this car is they can increase their handiness skill through various actions with the vehicle. A player can tune the engine, add new paint colours or wax their car to perfection. When the car is totally fixed players can become romantic and use it to make out with other Sims in their car, stargaze and even Woohoo in there. You can also drive it around town or even sell it to get some money for your Sims.
One of the other activities you can do in Sims 3 Roaring Heights is visit the Boardwalk Venue where Sims go in Roaring Heights for a bit of fun. There is a roller coaster there that Sims can ride, along with the ability to assemble your own roller coaster with different pieces provided to players. There is also the Roaring Heights beach and city locations such as Bourdelle’s Bistro, Dr. Terrible’s Science Building, Pleasant Pupil Academy, Gilded Guard Police Station, Bee’s Knees Books and Sixam Field which are just a few of the places your Sims can visit during their stay. It’s not known at the moment which of these are visible visiting locations or which are ones your Sims simply disappear into, at the time of writing this preview.
The final thing that players are most likely most excited about is the fashion in Roaring Heights. Being in a different period does allow a player to be creative with how they dress. Players who purchase the Boardwalk attire set which comes with the Gold edition will get more clothing items to use in the world. There are also new hairstyles, dresses, suits and hats for your Sims. Check out the images below and see how some Sims dress in Roaring Heights. Best to be sure so you can prepare your attire for when you arrive!
This is all we know on Roaring Heights so far but I will provide more posts in the lead up to December 12 if I receive more information on this new world. It does come in two bundles:

- Gold Bundle ($35) Includes: 1900 Simpoints, The Classically cool fixer upper car, Boardwalk Attire and the Roaring Heights World.

Leave a comment below on your thoughts on Roaring Heights. Is it something you are thinking to get for your Sims?
It doesn’t get me, be good if it had careers or something to do
yeah, the career tracks are fun to climb. It does come with a car though like movie stuff and into the future had more vehicles
