Developer sunset visitor 斜陽過客 and indie label Fellow Traveller have announced that 1000xRESIST will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on 20 August.
The Nintendo Switch 2 edition will feature an enhanced frame rate and resolution. According to the release, the new edition will offer the game’s clearest visual fidelity and smooth performance on a Nintendo console.
In 1000xRESIST, players take the role of Watcher, a clone tasked with serving the ALLMOTHER in humanity’s last underground society. By reliving memories from a thousand years ago, Watcher uncovers a mystery spanning generations and questions the truth they have been taught.
Existing Nintendo Switch owners will be able to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for free. Upgrade availability, pricing and regional details will vary by Nintendo eShop territory. The game will also be discounted by 40% during its launch week on the Nintendo eShop.
1000xRESIST is currently available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Series X|S.
