Paradox Arc has entered a publishing partnership with Blue Isle Studios for Guardians of the Wild Sky, an open-world survival-crafting and creature-collecting adventure game.
The game is scheduled to launch through Steam Early Access next year. Players will travel by airship through a large world of floating biomes containing wildlife, hidden treasures and dangerous creatures.
Guardians of the Wild Sky can be played solo offline or cooperatively with up to four other adventurers. Players will be able to capture and befriend elemental companions known as Guardians, whose abilities can support a base or airship crew, help with exploration or be used in combat.
Blue Isle Studios says the game will include a deep crafting system and mod support from its first day. Players can build creations ranging from cosy cottages and flying castles to vessels of war, while exploring dynamic environments and climates.
The game’s demo was among the most-played releases during Steam Next Fest in February 2026, according to the announcement, and the title has passed 450,000 wishlists.
The partnership is discussed in a developer diary featuring Blue Isle Studios co-founder Brenden Frank and Paradox Arc business developer Denis Komatina.
