Outlander Season 1 Part 2 Australian Release Date
The Outlander Season 1 Part 2 Australian Release Date is Sunday, April 5, at 7.30pm on the Soho channel on Foxtel. The second half of the Outlander season will be shown as part of Foxtels “Express From The US” programming, meaning it will be shown very shortly after the episodes are aired in the United States.
The first episode for the shows return should be episode 9 of Outlander entitled “The Reckoning” and it picks up from where the story left us in episode 8. I’m sure many people (myself included), are wondering what will happen to poor Claire (Caitriona Balfe) after her encounter with Captain Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) in the first part of this first season.
Outlander Season 1 Part 2 Trailer
What’s the show about?
Outlander is based on a series of novels written by Diana Galbaldon and the TV show was created by Ronald D. Moore who some may know as the creator of the recent Battlestar Galactica TV series. Outlander’s main character is Claire Randall who is played by Caitriona Balfe in the series. Claire starts off her story in 1945 as a married army nurse. Things get crazy for Claire though when all of a sudden she is sent back in time to 1743 where she struggles in a dangerous and far more barbaric world than she is used to.
The series takes place in Scotland and it’s not long before Claire is forced to marry one of the Scots, a man called Jamie (Sam Heughan), so she can be safe in the strange land in which she now lives and seemingly can’t escape. But her life isn’t ever fully safe in the new time, as the authorities and many other people are wondering who is this Clarie and where did she come from? Is she a spy? What is she doing here in Scotland? How will she explain herself?
