The show started with a very long trailer and a very impressive trailer for Destiny.

Andrew House then came to the stage, started talking about how it was only a year ago where he was there showing off the PlayStation 4. Said that the Destiny trailer that was just shown was “the embodiment of our vision”. PlayStation gamers will be able to access the Beta on July 17th. Announces a White PlayStation 4 bundle which includes and 500GB PS4 and white PS4 controller and a copy of Destiny. This new console will be available on September 9th.
We then move on to look at a “new IP” only for PS4 says Andew House. A trailer is then played for the Order 1886. A trailer is then straight away played for a game called Entwined a team then comes on and says they are now going to show you their first game.
Scott Rhode then came on the stage and said we don’t have to wait to play Entwined. He said the game is now available on the PS4 for $9.99 with PS vita and PS3 to follow soon.
He then moved onto talking about Infamous Second Son and mentioned that the team has been hard at work making some new DLC for the game. We then watch a trailer for the DLC.
Little Big Planet 3 then appeared on screen and we get to see some of the game on PS4 and a new character called Oddsock is revealed and also a new friend called Toggle who can go big and small and another character called Swoop who can fly.
The Little Big Planet 3 demo is the longest one so far and we get to see a lot of gameplay and then when the team leaves we get to see even more! A trailer is then shown for the game. Shuhei Yoshida then joins us on the stage and continues talking about the game. “It’s going to be great fun for the whole family this Christmas”.
Shuhei Yoshida starts talking about a new IP introduces a new game called BloodBorne and says “this is a game very close to my heart”. The game is coming and 2015 and looks impressive from what I saw. There is a lot of blood and gore, just what I like. It looks great. BloodBorne has impressed me so far and I look forward to more on this game.
Immediately after Bloodborne we then are introduced to Farcry 4 and are shown another trailer. It’s very long and has a lot of gameplay for the game. Farcry fans will likely enjoy what is shown.
I didn’t catch his name but a new Sony representative came to the stage and started talking about how much they listen to fan feedback from forums all over the internet. He then said he knows what people think about “Zombies” and showed us something with a lot of “Zombies” in it. Dead Island 2
We then also heard a little bit about The Last Of Us on PS4. Dead Island 2 will have a 30 day exclusive Beta for the PS4. Also moved to talking about how Battlefield hardline has a Beta now available on the PS4 from today. Well that’s exciting! Free games!
We then get to watch a trailer for the Battlefield 4, Hardline. We then hear about a partnership with Disney which includes an exclusive Hulk for the Disney infinity games. We then hear more about Destiny and all the exclusive content that PS4 owners will get while he was talking the Hulk yelled “Hulk Smash”.
A new partnership is announced with Paradox Interactive. The Majicka 2 game is shown as a trailer, it looks funny! I’ve actually played some of this game in Beta, it’s not bad and can be fun once you figure it out.
There was a letter shown from a kid which was read on air….. We then got a bit of details about a game called “Grim Fandango” there was a large cheer from the crowd. We then are shown a very long trailer with all the Indy games, they are shown too quick for me to list here. I will add them all later.
We then are read another letter, it seems they are trying to position themselves as a company that reads and listens to their fans. I wonder where we send these letters? A trailer for a new game called “Let it die” is shown which is out in 2015, it looks pretty violent. Then we are shown what the makers of Journey have been working on, Abzu. We are then thanked for all our feedback as it leads and helps to creating great games.
We are then shown a very cool trailer for a new game called “No Man’s Sky”. It has a lot of different world’s and actually comes from a new indy developer who says that everyone starts off in a different world. It sounds interesting. We are then taken back to see a whole new trailer for the same game.
Andrew House comes back on stage. Starts talking about hardware and the key peripherals. Starts talking about how the camera was offered as an option for PS4 owners from the beginning. Starts talking about project Morpheus and how it will take gaming to the next dimension. There are demo’s of project Morpheus at E3 this year.
Andrew House asks for a warm welcome for Shawn Layden the new President and CEO of PlayStation in America. Shawn Layden says he is honored to be there on stage and says he strongly feels excited. Starts talking about the PSN and how many hours spend on it and gives us some stats such as the share button being pressed 220 million times. Says YouTube will be coming to PS4 this year. The share button will be able to be used to upload videos directly to YouTube.
Begins talking about how free to play games are very important to PlayStation. There are 25 new PS4 games coming over the next 12 months. There is a video shown about the Free To Play games. He says at PlayStation “Free To Play means free to play”. Mentions that PS now will be available in North America in July. Nothing said about any of the other regions.
The PlayStation now will be available on select Sony Televisions as well as consoles. “Bringing PlayStation now to PS Vita is an example of our commitment to the platform” – Shawn Layden. Starts to talk about the remote play feature. There are over 100 titles in development today. Child of Light, Tales of Borderlands and Minecraft Vita.
Started Talking about PlayStation TV and how you will be available to play 1000’s of games from different generations through the PlayStation now. For $99 and then a bundle at $139 which includes a control and voucher for the Lego Video game.
Started talking about Mortal Kombat. A new gameplay trailer is shown for the game. It looks awesome! As a Mortal Kombat fan i’m very excited and I’m glad that they showed the fatalities at the end as well.
Andrew House then came back again and started talking about how Sony is developing an original series called “Powers” based on comics from Marvel. Brian Michael Bendis then came to stage to talk about the “Powers” tv series which has been approved. Tells a story about two homicide detectives that solve cases about powers. If something happens that results in death from a power, it is these guys who investigate it. It’s a story about cases, sort of sounds like super hero law and order.
Andrew House says it will be available in the US in December. Says that all people will be able to watch the first episode for free. Those on PS Plus will be able to watch the entire series of Powers for free. He didn’t mention anything about other regions, here’s hoping it comes to Australia for free as well.
Andrew House then shows us a trailer for the Ratchet And Clank movie. Says they are also trying to bring the original Ratchet and Clank game to the PS4.
Andrew House then shows new footage of The Last Of Us on PS4 and the video contains spoilers it says. The game will be coming July 29, 2014.
Andrew House then shows us a trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain.
Andrew House then tells us take a look at this from a company “I’ve had a personal relationship with for years”. It’s a trailer for GTA 5 and that it is coming to PS4 this Fall. Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will be able to transfer their progress over to the PS4.
We are then shown after this a full gameplay trailer for Arkham Knight on the PS4 including both walking and driving combat.
Andrew House leaves and thanks us and wishes us a wonderful evening.
We are then treated to a new Uncharted 4 trailer. Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End which is coming in 2015. I thought that Nathan Drake looked really well animated in this trailer, the game looks great!
A long trailer is then shown which is a mix of everything we just saw during the conference. Then it all ends and everyone stands up and leaves.
