The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff is the latest of the packs available for players of The Sims 4 to purchase digitally through Origin. Luxury Party Stuff is the first of the stuff packs for The Sims 4, however there was a previously released Outdoor Retreat Game Pack and The Sims 4 Get To Work Expansion Pack. The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff is focused around adding “stuff” to the game which includes things such as outfits, objects and gameplay features.

The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff Review
The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff comes with a fair amount of stuff for Sims players to use in the game. Depending on the type of player as well as what you intend to do with the stuff, will likely determine your experience with the stuff pack. For myself, I just used it to create a party room, but you could do anything you want with the items really and could just place them around your Sims home or use them as decorations, it’s entirely up to you!
When you first download the stuff pack which is around 110 megabytes in size, you will see a message when you first open the game and are taken to the main menu. It will give you a few brief points about what you bought and the types of things available in the pack.

The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff Outfits
There are a variety of outfits in the game for both the male and female sims to wear. The number of clothing items you get is quite low though, with only a few full outfits for each gender, as well as a few new hairstyles, necklaces and makeup options as well.

The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff Objects
There is a total of 12 objects which are added to the game for players to use when they purchase The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff. When playing the game I decided to use them to create red room full of the items and then used them to have a party. You can watch an overview of the stuff in the Luxury Party Stuff video I recorded below.
Luxury Party Stuff Pack Overview
The items in the pack are okay, but there really should have been more to play with in my view. For a party environment they can be used to create a nice enough area, but aren’t really that spectacular. The boom cube item isn’t really something you can do much with. In the few parties that I had, Sims didn’t really interact with the items all that much either.
The food tables are a nice addition and the fountains are great as well. In the trailer they’re advertised in a way that suggests they provide some new gameplay, but it’s not really groundbreaking in any new way at all. They are great items to have placed around in a party environment though. It maybe would have been nice to have more items than what is provided with this pack. Previous Sims 4 packs were so full of content up until now and the previous expansion was really a great treat, but this isn’t anywhere close to that standard.

Inside The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff you will also receive two styled rooms. These are nice rooms which come already made for you and in a variety of colours to choose from. The rooms are made using the items available in the pack and are good quick additions to your home if you don’t want to spend too much time building your own luxury party rooms.
Overall The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff is an okay pack but it’s not as packed full of content when compared to the quality of the previously released packs for the game. While it does have a lower price than the other two available packs, it does have far less content. When looking back at the stuff packs that came with The Sims 3, it just doesn’t compare when it comes to the amount of items at all. If you’re really keen to have a party with your Sims and can see yourself using the items for your game, considering the price it could be an okay impulse buy. But it’s best to think about how much value this pack brings to you as a player of The Sims 4. If you can see that value then it’s not a bad choice, if you can’t, then you won’t exactly be missing out on much at all except for the 12 objects and a few new outfits.
In the review you compare it to sims 3 packs, how they had so much content. They were also twice the price of these new game packs. Yes there isn’t much content, but for $10, the content you get is worth it. The sims 4 doesn’t intend their stuff packs to be the same kind you are used to with the sims 3.
Oh yes you are right the old ones did cost much more than these. If another stuff pack is released for sims 4 I’ll compare its items to this pack but for now there is only Sims 3 ones to look into as far as stuff packs go. Thanks for reading I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying the pack 🙂
Nice video. Simple and to the point, well done. 😀
Thanks so much for the compliment ? I was worried about it as I don’t make videos often but I might make more if people enjoy them ?
